Botanicals Cleanse Melt

Botanicals has long been one of my favourite brands (this hand serum in particular is just fantastic) but it’s been quite some time since I’ve tried anything new from them. Enter the Nourish Cleanse Melt which I am super impressed with.

The Brand

Botanicals create artisan skin care products that are are made fresh, in small batches. All of their products are vegan and none are tested on animals. As the products are 100% natural, they are all completely biodegradable with no traces of micro beads or plastics. Botanicals are also careful about packaging products, using glass bottles and jars where possible and only recyclable plastics in cases where plastic bottles are needed for safety reasons.

The Cleanse Melt

First impressions of the Cleanse Melt are good with the smart looking packaging and second impressions are even better with the wonderful scent when you open the tub. I have literally been taking the tiniest amount and rubbing it between my fingers which helps to lather it up a little, before working into my skin and then using a hot cloth to remove it. The melt is great at removing all traces of makeup and really does leave my skin feeling amazing. It feels very luxurious and is a real treat to use at the end of a busy day.

The Nourish Melt is formulated for dry or mature skin and contains so many great ingredients including:

  • certified organic green tea extract
  • shea butter
  • virgin coconut oil
  • sesame seed oil
  • essential oils of rose, lavender, rose geranium, palmarosa and ylang ylang.

I love that it’s natural – since Dylan was born I’ve become even more conscious of the nasty ingredients in various products. Not that Dylan is going to use the Cleanse Melt (!) but I like the idea of only using safe ingredients for the whole family. Another wonderful product from Botanicals and I’d highly recommend giving a try.
