    Moonfish Cafe

    Moonfish Cafe is one of my favourite restaurants in Aberdeen. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Union Street, the little restaurant has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. The restaurant opened in 2004 and head chef Brian McLeish was a finalist in Masterchef: The Professionals 2014. I’m not going to lie, I have been a little bit star-stuck on the couple of occasions I have seen him walking through the restaurant!     The Three Chimneys

    During our recent trip to Skye, we decided to splash out on an extravagant meal at The Three Chimneys. The restaurant boasts a Michelin star and has held 3 AA rosettes for the past 16 years. The food is sourced locally from the nearby land, lochs and sea and the restaurant is famed for its seafood. Needless to say, I had been looking forward to our visit for quite some time!
